From TV to the big screen, The A Team hasn't made really made quite a transcendence. The film picks up the series from where it was last left and then takes us through an action packed tale of betrayal, conspiracy and a bid to clear a soiled reputation.

The trouble with The A team is that it ushers in nothing new. The plot, the storyline and the action offer no novelty whatsoever. You may also notice some sort of resemblance to the drab-done-to-death prison escape sequences Bollywood films in the past have been replete with. 

The A team comprises ex-armymen who use renegade ways of standing for the right and the truth. However, an implication for a crime, they never committed puts them on the wrong side of the law. They should use every recourse available to them to get on the right side and clear their name. So when they get a chance to expose a crime which became the cause for their conviction, they make it their sole mission to unearth it.  

The action is frantic, infact almost borders on an overdose. The characters are gossamer and there is little to sing home about when it even comes to performances. Ofcourse Bradley cooper looks hot and his well chiseled body does provide for some eye candy and respite. 

While the end leaves us with an imminent sequel, there is only hoping that one, atleast if it's going to be similar to this, doesn't get churned out.
