Kung Fu Panda, the utterly confused but adorable Panda is back in the second installment and is all set to take us on a rib tickling journey to China. Laden with lots of funny gags, really cute characters and pots of Kung Fu, the film well lives upto the legacy of the original.
Po realizes that he is actually a Panda, umm yeah, basically a symbol during a fight with the wolves paralyses him with a memory of his mother. When he confronts his father, a goose, he tells him the whole story. While Po feels detatched and even more confused, Master Shifu receives word from Gongmen City, under the stewardship of the Kung Fu Council, that Lord Shen has attacked with a powerful new weapon that threatens to destroy the martial arts tradition. Now Po and his friends the furious five will have to go and save martial arts and China from Shen.
You begin to laugh from the beginning of the film. Po, his American accent and cool dude dialogues keep you tickled. All his goof ups and reactions are adorable. 3D takes the viewing experience a notch further. Not at any moment are we bored.
The Kung Fu, the silly one liners, the tongue twisters all add to the fun quotient. The film boasts of enough visual integrity and is a delightful watch.
Some parts may test your patience just a tad bit because we are hungry for more action but overall, Kung Fu Panda is quite a watch.
