All news readers are excellent at their work and listening to their mild, well mannered and subtle tone makes watching the news a satisfying experience. Even the news provided is excellent and covers various aspects and regions.
I should also thank you for not beating the crap out of topic or sensationalizing a particular news. I also liked the documentaries aired on this channel. Good effort and would love to see more of those. Your news channel is heading in right direction for giving only the news and not your views. Thank you once again for being the honest news channel who delivers the news as it is.

I recently watched your show, 'India Stranded', emphasizing the need for effecient urban public transport facilities.
In continuation to the same topic, kindly bring forth some show that highlights the fleecing of commoners by the Autowallahs in Delhi.
Its a stark reality that a lot of people known to me would like to use public transport network like Autos in particular but are shooed away by the high handed attitude blended with the fleecing nature of the city autorickshaw drivers. To add insult to this injury the cops and transport authorities provide a cold shouldered approach. Rs.5/km is the cost that one bears while taking an urban ride in his car, but with auto fares being raised not in accordance to the respective cng price hike, people do justify the continual personal car usuage. One is not dissuaded to pay the increased parking charges as their personal vehicle usuage saves them from all the begging and requests to appease the autowallahs, as most would not like to go to your choice of destination.
Hope to see something on this topic on newsx in the near future.

Are you people seeking for just a news or the truth behind that. It was a shameful seen when i saw G K Pillai saying that no 9 year old boy was killed in the valley (On the news channel headlines today) besides adding that there was curfew imposed and it was a youth who died of the age group 17.

And as per his say curfew was imposed why was that Imposed ??? He might not be knowing that its the 9Th killing In the valley from last 3 weeks. When some one enters in India and kills the Innocent people there you call those people as terrorists and when the Crpf is doing same with the Kashmiri people what are you going to call them ??? Saviors or Terrorists of India !!!

Shame on the people like G K Pillai and on the Media internationally who even knowing the truth seeks for the words from the people lke G K Pillai and keeps the Whole India and International community In the swarthiness.

hey hi,I was thinking that why there is always a total discrimination between kashmiri peoples and other Indians.whenever a protest is held in any part of india they are handled with care by giving a little lathicharge and whenever a protest is made by kashmiris they are handled with bullets and teargas canisters.why this big discrimination is here maybe its becoz we are demanding our freedom.

[At this point some part of the audio is missing, which will be clearly evident to any Kashmiri speaking person]

Person B: Enjoy your salary without sitting at home[a figure of speech used for Govt. Employees in Kashmir]
Person A: It is not easy to bring the procession under control, once it's out of control.
Person B: When 10-15 more people would be martyred, it will come under control automatically.
Person A: I am watching on the television right now. Listen, listen [increases volume of television]
Person A: You make call to Badgam and find out if this news is true.

As you ca see, the translation by Indian "Free" Media continuously stresses two thing 1) the transfer of money between two parties for creating violence and 2) 10 - 15 more people should die. When, in fact, that never seems to be the point of this communication. The whole point of the phone call seems actually two people talking about the protest in Budgam.

Anyone with basic knowledge of Kashmiri language can point out the fact that most of the objectionable parts are only "Figure of Speech" in the Kashmir language and not to be taken literally.

What is I do not understand is why use "LIES" ?

SUBJECT: Extra judicial interest of then Sessions Judge V L Achilya, Mumbai, in implicating me in false case leading to my arrest, torture and harassment.

Respected Sir,

Applicant most humbly submits:

1. In March 2005 Judge Shri V L Achilya was presiding over as MPID Court (Designate court for Maharashtra Protection of Interests of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act, 1999, hereafter referred to as ‘MPID Court’). It is a state act declared by Bombay High Court as void and beyond the competence of state legislature. He was hearing a case in C. R. No 47 of 2004 (later transferred to C.R. No 53 as Case 12 of 2005 under the MPID) which was against a company which duped its depositors of multi-crores of rupees.

2. Before the above case was initiated, the banks which financed the company had seized the company property under section 13(4) of Securitisation And Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002, (Herein after referred to as ‘SARFAESI Act’), which is a Central act having overriding effect. One of the seized properties was a joint flat, more specifically described as 501/502 Pinky Panorama Cooperative Society, 6th Road, Khar, Mumbai 400052.

3. The flat 501 was mortgaged to Bharat Overseas Bank and 502 to Punjab National bank. Both these banks had taken possession of these flats and sold by auction and delivered to the complainant under SARFAESI Act, pending only internal official formality of issuing sale certificate. My wife Smt Rekha Chhugani for flat 501 and I along with my son Sushil Chhugani for 502 were the successful bidders.

4. On 21/3/2005 Investigation Officer Mr. Mehboob Inamdar, reported to Judge Achilya, that “Mr Chhugani was found to be living in the property which I had sealed on 8/2/2005”. Though there was never any order passed to seal the flat.

5. Judge Achilya instead of asking the Investigation officer, under whose orders was the property sealed, asked the Investigation officer on 22/3/2005 to lodge FIR against Chhugani at Khar Police station and also issued a notice to me “as to why appropriate proceedings be not initiated for removing seal of property attached by the order of court and making illegal entry into the property lying attached by the order of the court”. I was required to appear on 24/3/2005.

6. Accordingly on 24/3/2005, I appeared, in the court, with a brief affidavit, explaining all the procedures, through which, I had got possession and also the fact of the Banks having opened the flats on 12/2/2005 to show to potential bidders (4 days after the purported sealing) and subsequent auction of the flats 501-502 Pinky Panorama on 15/2/2005.

7. Further Judge Achilya asked that the Khar Sr Police Inspector report to him on 29/3/2005, and file report of action taken in respect of complaint lodged.(All this is recorded in the Roznama ). So the Khar Police arrested me on 28/3/2005 and also attempted to arrest my wife and son. However both sought anticipatory bail. Attached is extract of Roznama from 21st March 2005 to 29th March 2005 as EXHIBIT A.

8. I had to spend 5 days in police lockup. After I was released on bail, I confronted the police officers, who were apologetic and said “The Judge asked us to arrest you, we could not refuse. He had asked us to also arrest your wife and son”.

9. Subsequently in May 2005, this judge Shri VL Achilya was transferred to Bombay High Court as Addl Registrar, and Addl. Sessions Judge Shri N D Deshpande presided over the MPID court.

10. The new Judge Shri N D Deshpande, heard the case at length and passed the order on 30/1/2006, discharging me, from the show cause notice and observed, that “the order passed on 19.1.2005 is not for attachment but is for attachment U/sec 8 directing Sr PI GBCB-EOW to comply the service of notices to the concerned by service and display of such notice inviting objections for such order of attachment. Subject to decision of such objection notice of attachment was made returnable on 14.2.2005”. Even this order to “display the notice” the Investigation Officer had not complied.

11. Further that there was no order to seal the property, so “there is no question of breaking court seal”. Annexed and marked herewith is the order dt 30/1/2006 of Addl Sessions Judge Shri N D Deshpande as EXHIBIT B

Till today, I am required to defend this false case in the Magistrates court and since last 5 years I am struggling to get the high court to take action against the Police officers, for arresting me on a false charge and also against the Bank Managers, who fearing arrest on account of Judge Achilya’s false stand, made many false statements initially.

Why did Judge Shri V L Achilya, behave like this, whether he had any interest in the matter?

I therefore request your lordship full enquiry may be ordered in the matter and action may be taken against the judge. I am ready to give my statement.

Shame on indian media......................when valley was simmering yesterday all national news channels were busy and highliting news about split betweeen rahul mahajan and his wife, these news channels have lost their reputation and honour, as they claim its a global channel ,highliting a dispute between a husband and wife does not reflect and weight and height in the news channel...instead of discussing main issues of the country where people r being massacred and females brutally mishandled , its really a shame on such a big and democratic country....group editors and editors of these so called news channels (NDTV, Barkha dutt, CNN IBN , SAHARA ,IBN 7 ,TIMES NOW,AAJ TAK , INDIAN TV , ZEE NEWS,) except NEWSX are directed here by not to mislead the country by hiding the reallity and keeping it behind the curtains.....have the courage to speak truth and keep the fear of GOD....

it is not umars or his fathers rule in kashmir but new delhi directly controls J&K, umar is only on their pay roles. when delhi wishes they choose the chief minister from a party with a mandate of only 15 members e.g PDP but when they were able to get the number to 22 and more voter % they were thrown out.

This is to convey that your stand regarding truth and staying away from all forms of yellow journalism and persevering in a steady and affirmative manner without being rude or biased towards patriotic sentiments for your country India, on kashmir issue has started to show impact atleast for starters,it was evident during CM's conference today where in it seems that he has started to pick at least in part the thoughts your channel has been portraying for so long now, like current struggle being leaderless and spontaneous hence an indigenous non sponsored movement etc, the credit goes to all of you who even though being Indians want truth to be given a chance and trying to stay on side of truth and not largely being afraid of calling spade a spade. Like earlier, I want to say that other channels should take a lead from you guys and basically understand that they can stay patriotically Indians even if they remain on side of truth and voice it, and help desperate kashmiri voice to be heard who are trying desperately and have since decades now, wounded in body and soul, tried to inch forwards in their just cause of Kashmir Issue to be resolved and come out of their gloom looking for that dawn that will shower the light of resolution to long pending issue of kashmir and which is acceptable to them. If Kashmir is on boil,its not because of political failure,either you remove CM or you go for governer,s rule.Its not the remedy for the problem.
